Consultation on Magna-Tinsley
Consultation has begun on Sheffield City Council’s Connecting Sheffield: Magna-Tinsley proposals, which form part of the Sheffield City Region’s Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) scheme. The project is designed to deliver improvements to walking and cycling infrastructure and to provide better connections to public transport links to make it easier for people to travel around and between Magna, Tinsley and Meadowhall and towards Rotherham using sustainable modes of travel. Consultation on Magna-Tinsley proposals will run until 15 March 2021.
The Connecting Sheffield scheme will complement proposals for a new Tram Train stop with Park and Ride facility at Magna, which will be brought forward by South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive as part of the same Transforming Cities Fund programme later this year.
