TravelMaster Advance Purchase Pricing 2020
This is an archive article from 20 May 2020
Customers who purchase from TravelMaster’s range of multi-operator and multi-modal tickets in South Yorkshire will see the prices for many tickets frozen, if they buy them before they travel, with changes being made on the 2 January 2020.
These changes will see prices for tickets bought off-vehicle frozen or subject to only a small increase in price (excluding all rail valid tickets which will change in line with national rail fares). However, all 7-Day tickets purchased on board will be subject to a larger increase in price as will some 1-Day ticket prices.
Customers with an 18-21 Discount Card will continue to enjoy a 15% discount against all 1, 7 & 28-Day tickets and this will be applied to the advance purchase prices saving them even more compared to buying on-board.
New Annual Tickets Available
TravelMaster are introducing new annual tickets and simplifying how passengers can purchase them.
Annual versions of the CityBus, CityWide, District Connect and SYConnect will join the existing SYConnect+ Annual ticket. Purchasing an annual ticket will get passengers approximately 6 weeks travel a year free compared to buying 13 28-Day tickets.
Annual tickets can now also be accessed almost instantly by being loaded onto any standard smartcard or Stagecoach smartcard. All annual tickets will be sold exclusively through the TravelMaster website.
